BOWLING.
The nutoli committee of the Wakatipu Bowling Club met last week. The members, who number about 24, were graded into A and B sections. A draw was made for the Doubles and Bank ferns. As a result Moss and L, Robertson (s) play Harper and Warren (s) for possession oa “the Doubles Perns,

The first games for the Doubles and Bunks ferns will be played on Wednesday (to-morrow). If any of above players- are unavailable their places will be filled on the green. All members whose names do not appear above are asked to be present on the green, when the committee will arrange for further matches The British badge has been handed to T. Rutherford, who will be challenged by J. Dagig on Wednesday. Now that the evenings are stretchig out it is hoped that members will go in for as much play as possible.
Messrs J. W. Hardley, president ot the Dominion Bowling Association (Auckland) and D. M. Pastier and J. Marlow (Dunedin) members ot the Council of same, arrived in Queenstown last evening and were met W* several members of the locat COjdb.A very pleasant game was played on the bowling green this morning, the visitors, who were joined by Mr J. Hen ton in a link game, winning by the narrow margin ot Ipt The locai p/avers were Kelly, Rutherford, Warren'' and Lynch (s). The visitors were charmed with the green and the magnificent surroundings. They left for Cromwell about mid-day.
