A slight alteration lias been made in the itinerary of the GovernorGeneral, who with Lady Alice. Fc.rgu&son will visit Queenstown at the end! of next week. The party are- due to arrive here from Pembroke at 4 p,ra. on Thursday, the 21st inst A civic reception will be. tendered theiul Excellencies at 8 pan. that evening in the Garrison Hall. On Friday morning they will be escorted round the town and to the schools, and a motor drive to the Seven Mile will be included if time permits. The afternoon will be devoted to the transaction of business. In the evening His Excellency will visit the local, Masonic Lodge, he, being the Most Worshipful the Grand Master of the Craft in N.Z. Subsequently he will be entertained by tire Lodge, at tire “Ambassador.” On Saturday the vice-regal party will visit the Head of the Lake, the s.s, Earnslaw being, placed at their disposal for that day by the Railway Dept.. The; trip to Paradise will be madei by motor. On Sunday their Excellencies will rest in Queenstown, taking their departure! by steamer and rail next, morning. A civic welcome will be accorded him at Gore on the arrival of the train.
