The French Senate has carried a resolution denouncing Germany's outrages on the line of retreat as crimes against the civilised world, holding authors liable to universal execration and solemnly pledging France to have, full reparation. The Conference between representatives of shipping companies and waterside workers, which has been sitting for some time, concluded last night when a complete agreement was reached.
