THE OLD.
While novelties attract the young, however, some old things are more attractive still, if boys and girls only knew it. Just, wait till you grow old, my voting readers, and then you will find that out, if you don't realise it now. But in the meantime, think of some things that are old, and consider how beautiful they are. There is the sun, for example, and the moon, and the stars, and the earth on which we live. These are all very old, and yet how lovely they are, and even glorious to behold. Then again, there is the old home, and father's and mother's love. These also are old. as old as you ; but what would you be without them ? Once more, there is that old toy ot yours—the wooden horse without a tail, or the doll with the broken nose, and its old clothes all tattered and torn. Isn't it just a beauts, and isn't n good to remember w hat fun von have had with it '.' Well, then, have a warm corner in your hearts for old things, and especially for old people, and learn to love them dearly, and you will find how lovable they are.
