The Mandcville correspondent of the ' Mataura Ensign' writes: Cold is all the talk here at present, as it is now being discovered that there is goldbeariug country right from Mandevilie to Pyramid, and it is only a matter of time when dredging will take the foremost place on the Plains. A meeting of some thirty farmers took place at Pyramid on Wednesday evening on important business connected with options and prospecting. I have no doubt that if arrangements were made with a syndicate to thoroughly prospect the ground good results will follow. 1/R.KDG INf* RKTLJRNS.
