GOLD MARKET. Few parcels of gold have been offered for sale from the immediate neighborhood duriug the week, owing both to the late rain and freshets, which have flooded and stopped mining operations in the Shotover River. The rain has also seriously affected mining operations at the upper portion of the Lake, in the neighborhood of the Bucklerburn. From the latter place, some good parcels have been brought in for sale within the last day or two, being the gatherings prior to the heavy rains. Price of gold £3 13s. 3d. to £3 13s. 6d. per oz.
