IRISH CRISIS.
UNARMED MILITARY ATTACKED.

The Irish Office has announced that a group of Sinn Feiners in Dublin fired' on a body of unarmed military, wounding one. Excepting a few instances of rowdyism the holidays passed off quietly throughout Ireland.
NEWSPAPER OFFICE RAIDED.

(Received December 27, 9.45 p.m.) LONDON, December 27. Thirty disguised, armed men raided tho ‘‘Cork Examiner” office iiud wrecked tho printing presses with bombs, though they spared tho linotypes. No arrests have been made.
(Received December 27, 11.50 p.m.) LONDON, December 27. The raiders at the “ Cork Examiner ” office broko the machinery with hammers and wrecked parts of the building with oxplosives. They then fired the property, and escaped before the arrival of the police. The fire was extinguished, hut the other damage is extensive. Tho raiders, who wore plain clothes, said they were acting under the orders of the Irish Republic. It is believed that the attack ,was caused by the “ Examiner’s ” attitude towards the Bishop of Cork’s recent pastoral letter.
