INTER-CLUB COMPETITION. The third round of the inter-club competition ww played on Saturday afternoon St Albans, South Christchurch and Now Brighton courts. Results:— CANTERBURY COLLEGE B v. SOUTH CHRISTCHURCH. Tlio match was played on tho South Christchurch courts, the home team winning by 10 games. Details, the College players being mentioned first: Singles—Harrop 6v. L. J. Berry 9; Connal 8 v. P. Berry 9; Ronaldson 7 v. Queroe 9; Ha..nilton 9 v. Peppier 5. Doubles—Harrop and Connal 4 v. L. J. Berry and P. Berry 9; Ronaldson and Hamilton 9 v. Quc-rco and Peppier 7. Totals—South Christchurch 48, Canterbury College B 33. NEW BRIGHTON v. AVONSIDE. New Brighton beat Avonsido on the home oourt!? by 48 to 35. The scores were, New Brighton names being given tirat: Singles—Browning 7 v. Overend 9: Bishop 9 v. Eaton 5; Collins 9 v. Willis 7; Jarvin 5 v. Cowper 9. Doubles—Browning and Bishop 9 v. Overond and Cowper 3; Jarviß and Collins 9 v. Willis and Eaton 2. Totals—New Brighton 48, Avonsido 35. ADDINGTON v. ST ALBANS. Tho match Addington versus St Albans, played on the latter club's courts, resulted in a win for Addington.
