That fairies actually exist and can bo photographed is seriously assertod by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Photographs which hare been reproduced resemble the fairies of the story oooks. One fairy is playing a reed pipe, and another is pirouetting on a toadstool. Sir Arthur suggests that fairies are partly butterfly ana partly human.
