THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL.

[Per Press Association.] FEILDING. November 26. Lord and Lady Jellicoo paid their first official visit to Feilding this afternoon. Much enthusiasm was displayed and the town was gaily decorated. Their Excellencies were met at the railway station by the Hon D. H. Guthrie and officially received by the Mayor, Mr Harford, and borough councillors. An address was read and presented to the Governor. After the ceremony their Excellencies were motored to the principal points of interest in tho town, and left by train for Palmerston North. WANGANUI, November 26. Lord and Lady Jellicoe had a very busy time to-day. Early in the morning they visited schools and colleges. At noon they were entertained at luncheon at the racecourse. In the afternoon hri Excellency opened the Soldiers’ Club, and opened the flower show. Their Excellencies made themselves very popular.
