CONFERENCE CONCLUDED. Tho conference of the New Zealand Builders’ Federated Association. was concluded yesterday. Air H. Alainland presiding. ~ . ... After a session hold m committee the immigration of skilled workers was discussed. It was agreed to take no action, as the Government’s policy was considered adequate for the B oderation’s purpose. Tiie executive was asked to report within three months on the- appointment of a Dominion organiser. A resolution of sympathy was passed to Air A. H. Harbottle in his illness. Air Harbottle had acted as auditor for several years. The election of officers resulted as follows:—President, Air 11. Alainland; vice-president, Air A. Grayson; treasurer, Air *W. I. Clark; committee, Alessrs A. At. Wilson, W. H.' Bennett and H. Alildenhall'; secretary, Mr W. A. W. Grenfell; auditors, Alessrs J. CBrown and E. G Dick; representatives on Employers’ Advisory Board, Alessrs 11. Mainland and W. H. Bennett. . It was agreed to accept the invitation to hold next year’s conference at Invercargill.
