JOCKEYS’ DISPUTE.

At a meeting of the Addington branch of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants yesterday the following resolution was passed:—

“ The Addington branch of the A.S.R.S. endorses the action of the Now Zealand Transport Workers. Advisory Board in its resolution declaring all racecourses, etc., black until the settlement of the jockeys’ dispute, and pledge our support in carrying out the resolution; and that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to our executive asking for instructions to .our members re loading and unloading of racehorses, etc., at tho meetings which are about to be hold at Oamaru and Dunedin.”
