Squad drill competition—No. i Seciion, Sergeant L. Tabley. A special presentation was made to Colour-Sergeant S. O Donnell, who is transferring lo llio Territorials, in recognition of excellent service to his old corps. The social side of the. proceedings included tho honouring of a lengthy toast list and (ho contribution of an entertainment programme, towards which items .were subscribed by Cadet Ivan Baker and Private F. Bountreo end Messrs Walter D.rako, W. Chammen, Brio Baker, E. Reed, B. Dunbar and others. During tho evening addresses of interest to the "cadets wore given by Colonel Young, Colonel F. B. Crcswcl!, Major Rowe and the Rev W. Walker. Mr A. W. ©w!m promised to present tho oampanv with n football, and Mr AV. Drake offered his services as coach to the company football team, Clio offer being gratefully accented. Supper was provided by the Pier management, and tho proceedings closed with tho singing of tho National Anthem shortly before cloven o'clock.
