GRANTS FOR INCIDENTAL EXPENSES.
The “Gazette” contains regulation? increasing the scale of allowances foi incidental expenses of school committees. Where tho average yearly attendance is from 1 to 8 the grant is raised from 13s to 14s for each pupil. Therest of the schedule is as under:— Amount of Grant. Average Old Scale. New Scale. Attendance £ £ 9-2 U . . 13 14
with an additional £8 for each 40 or part, of 40 in average attendance.
