Much interest is being shown in the meeting of At. Millerand and Mr Lloyd George, who have arrived at Folkestone. Conversations are taking place at Sir Philip Sassoon’s castle, at Lympne. It is essential to settle the method and time for Germany to pay the indemnity, especially as the cost of tthe army of occupation is still £150,000,000 annually.

Evacuation of the neutral zone is only a matter of days. Marshal jjocli has commissioned General Degoutto to arrange l details with tho Gorman commanders.
