PARISH MEETINGS.
On Thursday the annual meeting of parislv icners of the Hornby Anglican Churcii was held in the Parish room, tho Rev G. W. Harding presiding over a very good attendance. The past year’s work was shown to be very satisfactory, financially and otherwise. The following officers were elooted: Vicar’s warden, Mr Joyce; people’s warden, Mr Voss; vestry, Messrs Joyce, Voss, Palmer, Dawson, Richards, Withers (secretary), M'Keig, .Hunt, Pooley, Davis; central vestry, Messrs Voss and Withers. Miss Watson was appointed organist and Mrs Richards choirmistress. A ladies’ guild will be formed shortly. The annual meeting of panslnonors cf tho Air.be■dey Anglican Church was held on Tuesday. The vicar (Rev W. F. Knowles presided, and read a report of tile church work for tho year. The balance-sheet showed receipts £214 7s 3d and expenditure £2lO 6s Bd. Tho vicar nominated Mr F. P. Coleman as Bishop’s churchwarden and Mr H. W. Mcekelt was re-appointed as parishioners' churchwarden. The following were nominated as vestrymen: —Messrs C. B. Mason. F. A. Busch, F. H. Courage. J. Hotehkiu mid J. J. Breen. Votes of thanks to ul’ church workers were passed, end a suppeT followed.
