NEW BURNS-PHILP COMPANY.Burns, Philp and Co., Ltd., of Sydney, have decided to dispose of the whole of their island trading business to a new and separate company, registered at Snva, Fiji, under tho name of "Burns, Philp (South Sen) Company Ltd." The authorised capital is £2 000,000, in £1 shares. The assets of tljo island branches concerned are being paid for by the allotment by the new company to tho old company of 300,000 fully-paid-up shares. A further condition in that 200,000 shares shall be offered to tho shareholders of Bums, Philp and Co. at par in proportion to their present holdings, subject to payment of "s per share on application, 2s on allotment with monthly calls of 2s thereafter.
