FOOTBALL.
The seventh annual meeting of the Federal Rugby League Football Club was held in the K.M.C.A. rooms on Monday, Mr A. E. Hooper presiding ovor a largo attendance of members. The annual report stated that though the club's teams hod been unsuccessful last season, they had played very well, seven of the Senior members gaining representative honours. Tho prospects for the coming season were very blight, and it was decided to enter toamß in three grades. Mt Murray's medal for the most improved player had been won by Mr R. Piripi. Mr A. Brunsden informed the mealing that, owing to business reasons, he would be unable to take an active port in the club in the coming season. It was decided to send a letter to him thanking him for past services. A special committee was elected to go into the question of securing club rooms, and to report at the resit meeting, which was fixed for March 22. Several new members wore elected. The balance-sheet showed a credit balance of ±'lo 9s €d. It was decided to open the season at Si Albans Park on March 27. The following officers were elected: Patron, Mr T. B. Pike; president, Mr G. T. Adamson; vice-presidents, Messrs G. Ball, W. Ives J. Stock, G. Horwell, J. Colville' and P.'Williams; club captain, Mr W. J. Mitchell; vioe-captain, Mr H. Worsfold; delegates to Canterbury Centre, Messrs A E. Hooper G. Simpson and J. Chikls, sen..; honorary'secretary, Mr W. P. Murray; honorary treasurer, Mr J. Childs, jun.; general committee, Messrs F. Kidd, C. Dunbar, L G Thackwell. J. M'Donald, J. Ward, R. Withers, H. Worsfold, T. Molloy, W. Fletcher, D. Forrester, W. Bowden and A. Leshke. ■
