PENINSULA RALEY ARDS COMPANY. Tho monthly meeting of tho Peninsula Salevards Company van held at Duvauclielle on Friday; present—Messrs R. Latter (chairman). R. Stewart, W. W. Williams and T. W. Wilkins. Correspondence was read from Mossrs Meares and Williams in reference to reduction of mortgage. Tho secretai-y reported that tho vard fees for - the last sale amounted to £ls 19s. The resignation of Mr C. Richfield, cattlo grader, owing to hia departure from tho district, was accepted with regret, and it was decided to advertise for another grader. As tho first Friday in April is Good Friday, it was decided that the next salo bo held on April 9: also, in view cf tho largo yardings to commence tho sale nt 10.30 a.m. Tho chairmen’s action in allowing a salo of pedigree stock to be fixed for 2 p.m. was confirmed. Accounts amounting to £23 15s and £IOO for reduction of mortgage were passed for payment.
