Tho Christchurch boot retailers will close as follows during tho Christmas and New Year holidays Saturday, December 20, at 6 p.m.; December 25 and 28, all day; Saturday, Decembor 27, at 1 p.m.; January 1,2 and 8, all day. Tho offices of public accountants will be closed from tlie evening of Decembor 24 until the morning of January 6. The annual presentation of prizes to pupils of the Christchurch Technical High School will take place in the Choral Hall this evening, at eight o’clock.
