LABOUR. CANDIDATES[Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, July 7. The Parliamentary selection ballot held by the Wellington Labour Representation Committee during the past week-end resulted in the return of the following as official candidates forseats in Parliament :—P. Fraser (sitting member), Wellington Central; R. Semple (sitting member), Wellington South; J. Road. Wellington North; A. L. Monteith, Wellington East; and A. W. Croskery, Wellington Suburbs. MARSDEN SEAT. WHANGARET, July 7. The first candidate to announce himself for the Marsden contest at the General Election is Mr Fred Murdoch, school teacher and settler at Rualcaka, as an Independent Progressive.
