CURRENT NOTICES.
The New Brighton dairymen have fixed the price of milk during the summer months at 6d per quart. To-day and to-morrow a fair will be held at the Opawa Methodist Schoolroom, opening at 8 p.m. _to-day. The, proceeds are to help to extinguish a debt of £250. On November 1,2, 4 andß the afternoon train for Southbridge and Little River will leave Chrislchurch at 5.15 p.m. ana run 30 minutes later than usual; and the afiernoon train for Rangiora will leave Christchurch at 5.47 p.m. On November 4 the 5.10 p.m. train Belfast to Christchurch will not run. A poll for the election of five members of tho Hurunui Rabbit Board will be held on Monday. Tho offices of publio accountants will be clowd'all day on Monday and Friday next week, and from noon on Tuesday and Wednesday. , ______________
