STOCKS AND CROPS.
INCREASES AND DECREASES. In the live stock figures in the September Abstract of Statistics cattle and sheep show a slight increase over a fairly long period, while pigs show a corresponding decrease. There have been 6ome queer variations in the area under cultivation in New Zealand, and the latest figures are as follow:
