Mana, s.s., for Wanganui, September 28. SHIPPING NOTES. The steamer Huia, which is making a trip to Lyttelton in place of the Baden Powell, did not leave We.lington on Monday evening as was expected. The vessel was to bo dispatched yesterday. The Wakatu arrived from Kaikoura last night, and will sail for that port again this evening. The John Anderson will also sail for Kaikoura this evening. The Wootton sailed for Wellington yesterday afternoon, and is expected back on Friday, leaving hero again on Saturday for Wellington.l 1 The Manuka is due h “re. this, morning from We’lington. She will sail this evening for ■Wellington on arrival of the 6.16 p.m. train from Christchurch. The Kowhai is due in Lyttelton from Wei lineton this morning with goneral cargo. The Breeze completed loading yesterday and sai'ed for Picton. thence to Wanganui. Tho Storm is due here to-day from Timaru to load for Wanganui direct, for which port she will sail this evening. .
