SCHOOL COMMITTEES.
At a meeting of tho Lin wood Scnool Committee, Mr R. Carter presided. Mrs M. Eriokson forwarded her resignation as assistant mi6tres3. A lcttea- was received lroin the Social Hygiene Socie v asking permission foi Captain Pettitt to address the older boys on "Purity." It was decided tliat, a eimi.ar lecture having been given just recently, ano.hor was not necessary so soon. The following resolution was passed, and a cov ordered to be cent to the Education Beard: That ’*l l committee is strongly of the opinion that the war regulations reducing staffs on one quarter's attendance should bo held in abeyance owing to the amount of sickness and bad weather experienced during the quarter. Messrs Coulter and Wyatt were elected a Visiting Committee for the month.
