At the meeting of the Tramway Copper T J*il Executive on Tuesday, tho chairman (Mr L. B. Hart) stated that originally lie had asked the Canterbury Park Trotting Club, through Mr Witty, to contribute £SO to the prize list, and he had quite understood this would be done. He had, perhaps, not made this quite clear to Mr Witty, who had assured the club the donation would go into tho general fund for distribution.
