ANNUAL CONFERENCE. [Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, October 18. The Baptist Conference allotted £2OO for institute work in military camps. Mr A. J. Grigg was appointed a studcnlt for tho ministry. An illuminated address was presented ih tho Rev A. North in recognition of liis record ministry, the president, Chaplain Archer, and .the Hon Gilbert Carson paying tributes of general respect. Home mission granlts totalling £I2OO were voted. Canterbury grants—Kaiapoi, Oxford, Linwood, Riccartbn and Timaru—totalled £2CO.
