PRISONERS OF WAR.
NEW ZEALANDERSIX TURKEY
[Peji PitEss Association.] WELLINGTON, January 29. The Hon James Allen has received from.the High Commissioner the following list of members of the New Zealand Expeditionary Force who arc prisoners of war in Turkey:— Sergeant Gordon Salwny, 2nd Wellington Mounted Rilles. Trooper C. C. Bowen. Trooper J. C. M'Lennan. Trooper D. M'Leod. Trooper W. M. Martin. Trooper Arthur Pearce. Trooper T>. L. Quintal. Trooper J. H. Saunders. All belong to the Auckland Mounted Rities, and are at Alton Kara Hi&sar. The Minister has also received advice that owing to the peculiar circumstances prevailing in Turkey special arrangements have been made for remittance of money to New Zealand soldiers prisoners in that country.
