Private Horatio Spinks, died ..front ■wounds, was born in Dunedin. He was thirty-two years of age, and waa the third son of Mr and Mrs B. T, Spinks, of Owaka. Prior to enlistment lie worked on his father’s farm. Private Spinks had not been long in France when an old complaint troubled him.
