TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —Your logic in regard to theai matters is amusing, were it not s« serious. You justify the big London paper raising its price from one penny to a penny halfpenny during the. wap because, as you state, of the additional cost of producing same. You do not mention tho paper’s required loyaltyjifii educating the public in not increasing prices during the war; but, on the other hand, you deprecate the farmers asking for a price for their production the same basis as the big London paper.
