SWIMMERS AT THE FRONT.
LIXWOOD CLUB'S ROLL OF HONOUR.
The annual report of the Linwcou Amateur Swimming Club states:—"Up to date twenty-five of our members have enlisted, amongst thorn being our late secretary, Mr H. R. Matthews, and it will ho difficult to find his equal as a secretary. Mi- S. A. Smith, who took up Mr Mattbews's work, also enlisted, as also did Mr C. Johnston, who replaced Mr Smith, so that at present wo arc without a secretary. A:l thoso who have enlisted have been made honorary members until tho end of tho financial year in which they return discharged. "Tho following members have onMated for active service:—C.
