MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
CHRISTCHURCH. Mr H. W. Bishop, S.M., presided at the Magistrate's Court on Saturday. John Michael Gearsehawksi, charged ' with drunkenness and breach of a prohibiten order, was committed to Roto Koa Inebriates' Home for twelve months. In tho case of W. J. Doyle (Mr Mosloy) v. Thomas Atkinson, debt £6 8s 3d, tho debtor was examined and ordered to pay one shilling a week, in default six days' imprisonment. lu the case of Herbert George Appleton (Mr Williams) v. William John M'Aulay, debt £2 13s 6d, an order was made for payment forthwith, in default .hours' imprisonment.
