It was reported that arrangements had been made with Mr Burke, sen., to attend to the gate at Motukarara until another gatekeeper was appointed. A discussion took place regarding the removal of the gate and fence at Motukarara to u more suitable position, but it was decided to leave the matter in abeyance for the present. The inspector was authorised to procure new boards, painted red with white lettering-, for Ihc gate at Motukarara.
