Holders of wheat have shown more readiness to this week, and a fair amotnit of business has been done at prices which show an advance. Transactions, however, mostly are confined to lines of modest dimensions. Ono lino ■of about 100.1 sacks, comprising Velvet and Marshall's White, in equal proportions, changed hands at a country station at, 5s net. Other sales, net at country stations, hove been Velvet 5s 3d to 5s 4d; medium Velvet. ss; Red Chaff, 4s 9d: Marshall's White, 4s 8d: Dreadnought, a particularly cood sample. 4s 9d. Some medium fowl wheat has been taken at a country station at. 3s lOd net. Very tew potatoes are ofTerin?. A little business has been done at £7 5s net. on trucks.
