OLYMPIA RINK. Skating will continue to-day at tho Olympia Rink from 10 n.m. onwards. On August 31 a fancy dress and postei carnival will be held. “ ALL red ROUTE.” The ordinary short scenic subject is a welcome addition to a motion picture entertainment. Now, however, thero has been filmed a complete holiday tour from Sydney to London via the Islands and Canada. Without mal de mer, ’uggage or any of the lit-tlo worries incidental to a sea journey, the audience is transported from Suva to Honolulu, to Canada, over tho Rockies to Niagara, and so on to London. Tho Minister of Education (Hon J. Hanan) gave tho picture his special endorsement and stated that not only was it of great interest and* educational value, but, being taken on the “All Red Route,” it served to foster the spirit of Imperialism. Tlio film will.bo shown at His -Majesty’s Theatre, commencing on Monday next.
