CAMBRIDGE TERRACE METHODIST CHURCH.

On Sunday last reopening services were held at the Cambridge Terrace Methodist Church, tho preachers being tho Rovs W. Harris and J. Cocker. Thero were good congregations, and in the evening a musical programme was given by tho choir and* friends. On. Thursday night a reunion tea meeting was held, and was well attended. The public meeting was presided over by Mr E. W. Hall and addresses were delivered by tho Revs W. Laycock, W. A. Sinclair and J. Cocker, Messrs W. Dobbs and 11. Chaplin, and Mr J. Smith, who turned the first sod in preparing the-section for the church forty-three years Mr G. Gamble, who was present at the laying of the foundation stone, also took part iu the service. Tho Mayor CMr H. Holland) unveiled a roll of honour containing the names of thirty-ono young men connected with the Snnday school or church, who bad enlisted since the beginning of tho war. Out of tho thirty-one soldiers fourteen held official rank. The Mayor gave an ; interesting address dealing with tho deeds of tho " Men of Ansae." Tho choir, under tho leadership of Mr E. Robson, contributed a number of anthems. A feature of tho meeting was the.singing of old Methodist tunes in a spirited manner.
