THE EPIDEMIC OYER. [Fhoh Our Coerespoxdext.] WELLINGTON, July 7. A. statement of the number of cases of infantile paralysis, prepared by the Minister of Public Health, shows that the epidemic is rapidly disappearing, the monthly cases throughout New Zealand this year were:— January . . .77 February . . . 297 March . . . . 322 April .... 190 May .... 58 Juiie . . .16 Tho Juno total comprised—Wellington 11, Canterbury 2 and Otago 3. There were no cases in Auckland.
