UPPER RICCARTOX. The Upper Riccarton School Committee mo; on Monday night; present—Messrs For--syth (chnirniiin), <T. Bucknell, Lang, Chniney, O'Loughlin, Raxworthy, Clarke end Ellis. 'flu headmaster's report snowed the average attendance for the mouth to bo 212 out of a 101 l number of '238. A resolution ot sympathy with the loss sustained by the/nation through the tragic end of Lord Kitchener and his staff was p'.acod on record, members standing. Messrs Forsyth and Chamey were deputed to wait on the West Chnstchvucn School •Committee and lay before it the _ injustice done to Sockbuvn children attending the "West Christchurch Bchool in not getting free railway passes because they alighted at tin Addington instead of the Christchurch station. Messrs Clark nnd Lung were appointed a Visiting Committee for the month.
