The shoot-on' for the second and third gold medals between Messrs Hamilton (Southbiook), Trust rum (Kaiapoi) and Craig and Vcnner (Sydenham) was fired on Saturday evening on the C.D.C. ran.ee, Chester Stieet. Craig, with 0!), secured second place, and Hamilton and Vcnner tied with 66 each fur tl.'ird place. In til© shoot-off, Hamilton with 67 beat Vernier with 48. Trustrum won tho special prize for North Canterbury and Vcnner gained special prize for Christcliurch on their original scores. 69, at Ashburton. Special arrangements have been made for the ladies who tied for tho ladies' special prize to shoot upon their own range—Mrs Ingram at Ashburton, Miss Hanna ot Seftoii, and Mrs Rogers «nd Mrs Weston on the'Crown Brewery range. This evening the t\vi Christchttrch 'ladies will firo off under the supervision of Mr C. Burmeister, New Brighton. ______________
