SPRKYDOX. The Men’s Bandage Class commenced work on Monday evening. Dr Mickle attended and gave an address on Bed Cross, work and a practical demonstration of bandage reeling, and was accorded a hearty vote of thanks. YALDIIURST. On Thursday the Prebbloton Branch of the Red Cross Society held a gift aiternoon. and nl«o an exhibition of finished work and bandages Mr IV. S. Robinson, of Christchurch, gave li"short address. Afternoon tea was provided bv the ladies of the branch. The gifts were afterwards packed and will be sent to tho Lady Liverpool Fund. The goods consisted of 15 pyjama suits, 8 flannel vests, fi pairs flannel drawers, 3 flannel coats. 11 dressing gowns, S day shirts, 2 calico night shirts. 3 bed jackets, 2 waistcoats. 2 flannel belts. 1 pair shorts, 10 face cloths and 20 handkerchiefs, given by school children, and 20 pairs • socks, 443 bandages, 10 bundles swabs. ' Two feather pillows were given by Mrs G abatis, 1 feather pillow by Mrs Henderson, and 1 pair of towels by Mrs Carpenter, sen. The following, donations were received: —Mr F. The Lincoln Red Cross Branch is still energetically at work, and -members are tak- i ing <i keen iutcrest in flic movement.
