RUSSIAN HERO. AWARDED VICTORIA CROSS. By Telegraph—Pre?s Association—Copyright. PETROGRAD, February 20. At King George's instance a Russian named Semenenko has been awarded the Victoria Cross. He saved a Russian trench on the, northern front, though it had practically been obliterated.
ARTILLERY WORK.
The High Commissioner reports:— LONDON, February 21. Two Zeppelins fis\x upon Mishtel. At Lake Sventen we destroyed two German blockhouses. The enemy's wire entanglements, mine chambers and a trench were destroyed by our cannon fire.
