DEATH OF AN INFANT. An inquest was held on Saturday before Mr H. W. Bishop, S.M., District Coronor, concerning the death of an infant named Francis James Noouan. After hearing the evidence of tho father and the doctor the Coroner returned a verdict that death was due to marasmus. ,
THROWN FROM A HORSE. A man named Samuel Ferguson was driving along the Radcliffe Road, Styx, on Saturday, when his horse shied suddenly, and he was thrown heavily to the ground. He was admitted to the Hospital. 8
A TRAMWAY ACCIDENT. F. Wliatinberg, of North Avon Road, was admitted to the Hospital on Saturday afternoon suffering from injuries received as the result of a fall from a tram. ■ '
CYCLIST COLLIDES WITH MOTORCAR. Yesterday morning a twelve-year-old boy named George Arnold, residing with his parents at 480, Manchester Street, collided with a motor-car while cycling along the River Road near Now Brighton. The boy sustained a plight concussion of the brain, and was taken to tho Hospital, where he is now making satisfactory progress towards recovery.
A COLLISION. About half-past five o'clock on Saturday evening an accident occurred in Colombo Street, between Gloucester Street and Cathedral Square. A motorcar driven by a lady was approaching the Square. when it collided with a hansom cnT>. The force of the impact brought the horse to its knees, but otherwise no damage appeared to be, done.
