RIFLE SHOOTING.
CHBISTCHUKCH CLUB. The members of the Christchurch Defence Rifle Chib fired the ninth competition of the seajon's championship k-i-ies of matches r.t the Cashmere Range on Saturday afternoon. The conditions v.'cre seven shots each at 200, 300 and UOO yards. The weather was hot, but g-ood for shooting, and some excellent scores were made. Kifleman Morgan, with 93 on the target and two points handicap, headed the "list" for the day. Rifleman Reynolds reahy scored 100, but one of his shots- at the 300 yards rauge was a bull's-eye on the wrong! target, and he could not include it in his total. " ■ , . The series counting for the championship is completed, with the exception of the final, which will be fired at the Field Day competition on March J|. The leading scorers in this event are Rifleman Sar.dford (G€B points). Rifleman Reynolds (659), Rifleman Judkius (641), Rifleman "Hcnrv (636) and Rifleman Tyers (631). l'hw following are the scores in Saturday s match :
