NEW ZEALAND ASSOCIATION. A meeting of tbe executive of the New ZeM land Hockey Association was held on Thursday- evening; present—Messrs H. S. J. G-oCsiL-man (chairman), G. Ford, R, Browning,' ft. P. Granger and G. S. C-owper (honorary secretarv). The statement of receipts and expenditure, together with a cheque for the credit balance (£->i 19s 6d). in connection with the interisland match played at Wellington on September 12, 1911. was received from the Wellington Association. The statement showed the gross takings to be £47 103, and the expenditure £24 10? 6d. Tbe secretary stated that the half of the net proceed? of the match to be devoted pro rata to the refund of players’ expenses worked out at 3s 4d in the £. It was decided to hold the balance, which is to be donated to a Patriotic Fund, pending information j concerning funds which affected tHe whole Dominion. Mr F. Bottrill, who took part in the match, j wrote donating his shore of the refund, to the funds of the Association. It was de- • cided that a letter should be sent thankingMy Bottrill. and to add the amount to the Association's Patriotic Fund cheque. Disqualifications imposed by the Nelson and Poverty Bay Associations were endorsed
