AMUSEMENTS.
HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE. ‘•The Crucible,” the Famous Players’ film, which has been such, a marked success, was relocated at His Majesty's Theatre last night. The picture, together with the supporting films, will bUscreened at the matinee to-day and to-night for the last time. On Monday there will be a production 0 f Belasco’s well-known drama, ‘'The Governor's Lady." The story concerns two voting people in the humbler sphere of life who arc very devoted to each other. The whole piece is well acted and the stage mounting is said to leave nothing to be desired. Ihe plan is at The Bristol.
QUEEN'S THEATRE. “In the Days of Famine." the Broadway star feature in three acts which has drawn such crowded houses at the Queen's Theatre, will be shown for the last time to-night. On Mondav a now film service will be inaugurated 'at the Queen's Theatre. The picture which has been chosen for the opening is a M orld I ilm Corporation drama in five acts entitled ‘-The Dollar Mark." The principal character is taken bv Robert M'arwick. This picture with a strong supporting programme. will be shown for the whole ot next week.
EVERYBODY'S THEATRE. “ How M e Beat the Emden ” was again shown to appreciative audiences at Everybody's Theatre yesterday. The programme, will be repeated to-day. On Monday will be shown a film entitled •'Rags," featuring the worldfamous, actress Mary Pickfovd. It is described by the “Motion Picture Chronicle” as a “ buoyant enthralling story of an uncouth little girl who rises to wealth- and happiness after years ot misery.
SYDENHAM THEATRE. ‘•■How M'e Beat the'Enidon " and the Chaplin film. “The Janitor." were jn the chief attractions ai the Sydenham Theatre last evening- The programme "trill bo shown this at totnoon and for the last time'to-night. On Monday evening “The Governors Lady." a .50001" t, drama, will be the star item.
GRAND THEATRE. The programme at the Grand Theatre ‘beaded by the Chaplin rontedv -A Woman.” which met with a good reception yesterday, will be repeated to-day. On Mondav a special attraction is offered in the latest Chaplin production entitled "His Elopment.”
GLOBE THEATRE. Special films for this afternoon's matinee at tbe Globe Theatre include * The Clown’s Best Performance and the •• Topical Gazette.” . „ On Alouday "The tass-Janey Feud will be the principal attraction.
