Mails for despatch on that day will close at 8 p.m. on Thursday, December 31. A delivery of all correspondence will be made over the counter at tho Chief Post Office on Thursday, December 31. between 8 and 9 p.m. Mails despatched from Christohurch on November 11. via San Francisoo, arrivod in London on December 20, seven days lato. There will be a daily mail service to and from the West Coast from December 21 to January 80.
