LATE HON W. MONTGOMERY.

THE FUNERAL, Yesterday afternoon tho funeral of the late Hon William Montgomery took place. The cortege was formed on the Christchurch railway station, and moved off immediately on tho arrival of the train from Little River. The funeral procession proceeded to thcßarbadoes Street Anglican cemetery, where tho burial service was conducted by the Veil Archdeacon Gosset. The chief mourners were tho sons of the deceased. Cowlishaw, K. Nca.re, 11. -U. Reeves, John Anderson, W. F. Parkinson, Joseph Ballantvne, R. M. Macdonald, Leonard Clark, W. _ F. M. Buckley, W. H. Lane. James Little. H. Belmor, F. Coop, J. Coop, J.
