A DIVORCE SUIT.

By Telegraph—Press Association—Cowvrighi SYDNEY, July 17.

Ada Norton, wife of John Norton, newspaper proprietor, has lodged a petition for divorce, alleging misconduct with a woman named Pannett. At the preliminary hearing of tho caso Mrs Norton secured an order of the Court for interim custody of the seven-year-old daughter of tho marriage, who, according to applicant's' affidavit, had with her governess disappeared. It was alleged that the object of the disappearance was to remove the child from the jurisdiction of the Court.
