Letter mails close for the following placet as under, subject to the necessary alterations:— Mails per express to Dunedin and south close daily at 7 a.m. and 11 a.m.; late fee, i.e.. letters bearing Id additional stamp. 11.15 a.m.; also mail van up to 8_ a.m. and guard's van 11.55 a.m. train. Books'and newspaper, 7 a.m. and 10.S0 a.m. THURSDAY. JUNE 4. . For Kaikoura, per Cygnet, at 5.20 p.m.; late fee letters, 5.35 p.m.; guard's van, 6.45 p.m. train. Foi Australian States, etc. (due Sydney 9th June), India, China, Ceylon, Japan, Hong Kong, Straits Settlements, South Africa, New Guinea, etc., also United Kingdom and Ccn'inent of Europe, etc (due London 12th July), via Naples, per Wahine, to connect wth Moeraki, at 6.15 p.m.; late fee letters, 6.45 p.m.: guard's van, 7.40 p.m. train. Money orders, 4 p.m.; registered articles, 4.45 p.m.; books, packets and newspapers, 5.45 p.m. -- For Northern Ports, per Moeraki, at 3 p.m.; late fee letters, 3.45 p.m. guard's van. 7.40 p.m. train. For Northern Potts, per Wahine, at G. 15 p.m.; late fee letters, 6.45 p.m.; guard's van, 7.40 p.m. train.
