CLOSING OF THE POLLS. Mr G. Maginness. returning officer, has received a requisition asking that the time for the closing of the polling booths.for the election of members of the Harbour Boardl on June. 18 should bo 7 p.m., instead of 6 p.m., the time at 'which the booths closed at the pre-vious-election. Mr Maginness sub* mitted the proposal to the Minister of Marine; who has replied stating that tiie time must be the same as on the previous occasion. Tho time for receiving nomination;, will close at noon to-day.
